WASHINGTON (World News Bureau) – After near-universal condemnation over her remark that President Obama prided himself on having a scandal-free administration, Valerie Jarrett took to social media on Monday to say she had misunderstood his remarks.
"When I was talking to the President he was eating a jelly doughnut, so I may have misunderstood his comment about not allowing sandals to be worn in the White House during his term," Jarrett said in a Facebook post. "Regardless, we probably still had fewer scandals than the Clintons did, so that’s a positive thing."
