Solving The African IQ Conundrum

As their IQ map of the world illustrates, the average IQ for all countries is 90 (The Wealth of Nations is mapped by their IQ, By Glen Owen, November 10, 2003). Less than one in five countries has national IQs equal or near the British norm of 100. Almost half the countries have national IQs of 90 or less.

If IQ and the Wealth of Nations is correct that an average IQ of 90 forms the threshold for a technological economy, this poses a serious problem.

But can that African 70 average IQ be real? It is indeed extremely low, the lowest found in any comparable area. This has caused many to dismiss the finding.

An IQ of 70 suggests mental retardation—at least it would in the White populations of Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand. There it would frequently be associated with dysfunctional social behavior and visible deficiencies.

This combination of high Extraversion and low Neuroticism results in a socially dominant personality profile.

It is this “winning personality” among Blacks, I believe, that makes it hard for so many to accept the validity of their failing tests of abstract reasoning ability.

The Price of Resettling Refugees in America

According to the White House over $2 billion in funds is needed in order to “support a total of 213,000 ‘humanitarian arrivals’in FY 2017, including 100,000 refugees, consistent with the administrations commitment to admit at least this number of refugees in 2017.”

American veterans have been horribly abused over the years. After devoting their time and effort to the country they love and risking both life and limb, many often feel forgotten when it comes time to pay the steep medical bills for injuries or emotional problems gained in their time of service. It is truly sad that men who gave everything for their country when it needed them most get nothing in return when they need it.

To make a bad situation worse, however, Obama has actually been paying out veterans from OTHER countries to thank them for their service. In 2009, the Obama administration promised hundreds of millions of dollars to elder Filipinos who had fought in World War 2. Residents of the country received $9000 while anyone who got US citizenship afterwards got $15,000.
