The Republican Party made an agreement 30 years ago with the Democrat Party NOT to ensure voting integrity and NOT to pursue suspected vote fraud.

Yes. You read it correctly.

In fact, legally the GOP cannot ensure voting integrity, nor can it prevent vote fraud.

Here’s the astounding reason, which is kept from the American people.

PolitiJim writes for Gulag Bound, November 13, 2012, that during the weekly True the Vote webcast, Catherine Engelbrecht (see her photo below) related a meeting she had with Reince Priebus, the chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC), asking what the GOP would do about voter integrity.  The answer?

Nothing.  They aren’t legally able to.

This all goes back to a lawsuit 31 years ago, in 1981. The following is compiled from an account on The Judicial View, a legal website specializing in court decision research and alerts, and from “Democratic National Committee v Republican National Committee,” Case No. 09-4615.

In 1981, during the gubernatorial election in New Jersey (NJ), a lawsuit was brought against the RNC, the NJ Republican State Committee (RSC), and three individuals (John A. Kelly, Ronald Kaufman, and Alex Hurtado), accusing them of violating the Voting Rights Act of 1965 (VRA), 42 U.S.C. §§ 1971, 1973, and the Fourteenth and Fifteenth Amendments to the Constitution of the United States.

The lawsuit was brought by the Democratic National Committee (DNC), the NJ Democratic State Committee (DSC), and two individuals (Virginia L. Peggins and Lynette Monroe).

The lawsuit alleged that:

• The RNC and RSC targeted minority voters in New Jersey in an effort to intimidate them.

• The RNC created a voter challenge list by mailing sample ballots to individuals in precincts with a high percentage of racial or ethnic minority registered voters. Then the RNC put the names of individuals whose postcards were returned as undeliverable on a list of voters to challenge at the polls.

• The RNC enlisted the help of off-duty sheriffs and police officers with “National Ballot Security Task Force” armbands, to intimidate voters by standing at polling places in minority precincts during voting. Some of the officers allegedly wore firearms in a visible manner.

To settle the lawsuit, in 1982 — while Ronald Reagan was President (1981-1989) — the RNC and RSC entered into an agreement or Consent Decree, which is national in scope, limiting the RNC’s ability to engage or assist in voter fraud prevention unless the RNC obtains the court’s approval in advance.

Since 1982, that Consent Decree has been renewed every year by the original judge, Carter appointee District Judge Dickinson R. Debevoise, now 88 years old. Long retired, Debevoise comes back yearly for the sole purpose of renewing his 1982 order for another year.

In 2010, the RNC unsuccessfully appealed “to vacate or modify” the Consent Decree in “Democratic National Committee v Republican National Committee,” Case No. 09-4615 (C.A. 3, Mar. 8, 2012). This is a summary of the appeals judge’s ruling, filed on March 8, 2012:

In 1982, the Republican National Committee (“RNC”) and the Democratic National Committee (“DNC”) entered into a consent decree (the “Decree” or “Consent Decree”), which is national in scope, limiting the RNC’s ability to engage or assist in voter fraud prevention unless the RNC obtains the court’s approval in advance. The RNC appeals from a judgment of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey denying, in part, the RNC’s Motion to Vacate or Modify the Consent Decree. Although the District Court declined to vacate the Decree, it did make modifications to the Decree. The RNC argues that the District Court abused its discretion by modifying the Decree as it did and by declining to vacate the Decree. For the following reasons, we will affirm the District Court’s judgment.

Surprise! The judge who denied the RNC’s appeal to “vacate” the 1982 Consent Decree is an Obama appointee, Judge Joseph Greenaway, Jr., of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Guy Benson of Townhall.com points out that in last Tuesday’s election, Obama only won by 406,348 votes in 4 states:

• Florida: 73,858
• Ohio: 103,481
• Virginia: 115,910
• Colorado: 113,099

Those four states, with a collective margin of 406,348 votes for Obama, add up to 69 electoral votes. Had Romney won 407,000 or so additional votes in the right proportion in those states, he would have 275 electoral votes.

All four states showed Romney ahead in the days leading up to the election. But on November 6, Romney lost all four states by a substantial margin, all of which have precincts that inexplicably went 99% for Obama, had voter registrations that exceeded their population, and had experienced  problems with voting machines.

This election was stolen by the Democrats via vote fraud. Despite all the evidence of fraud, the Republican Party has been strangely silent about it.

Now you know why.

I’ll leave you with one last, even more disturbing thought:

The RNC and DNC made their Consent Decree 30 years ago, in 1982. The agreement in effect gives a carte blanche to the Democrat Party to commit vote fraud in every voting district across America that has, in the language of the Consent Decree, “a substantial proportion of racial or ethnic populations.” The term “substantial proportion” is not defined.

Threat Assessment

Today is the sad first anniversary of the death of Andrew Breitbart. And what more fitting tribute could there be than a journalist actually standing up to speak truth to power and being threatened by the Whitehouse for it.
Bob Woodward of the Washington Post wrote a story which clearly and factually points out that the sequester was initially proposed by the Whitehouse, and approved by Barack Obama before it was put on the table. And now that the sequester cuts are actually going to be enacted, the president and his toadies are lying about who’s to blame. But those lies won’t get traction if a journalist with Woodward’s authority calls them lies.
Which is why Gene Sperling, one of the president’s top economic advisers yelled at Woodward for a half hour, and then said if Woodward stuck to his story he would “regret it.“
Thankfully, Woodward isn’t impressed by the threats from this most rancid and anti-American of administrations. But tragically, the anniversary of Andrew Breitbart’s death reminds us that the vast majority of alleged journalists are easily cajoled or bullied into spreading government-issued lies, and that there are too few courageous voices actually trying to get the truth out to a fact-deprived nation.

Andrew Breitbart, the man, can never come back – but his influence is still alive and kicking and causing headaches aplenty for the liars, cheats, and manipulators in high office.
Let us all continue to be inspired and motivated by his brave example.

While Hope n’ Change didn’t really want to revisit the sequester debate again today, we couldn’t let Janet Napolitano’s shameless fear mongering slip by without comment because our freaking heads would explode.

Specifically, Janet is trying to help Obama create a sense of impending panic about the eensy-weensy sequester cuts scheduled to begin at week’s end. To do so, she has announced that the Department of Homeland Security will be unable to do its job of securing our borders and providing shuttle bus service for illegal aliens who don’t want to walk all the way to unemployment offices for their checks.

Just kidding! Although Barack Obama has previously argued that we should leave our borders wide open so that we don’t “keep out the next Einstein,” Janet Napolitano suddenly feels thatallowing illegal immigrants into our country will compromise national security. 

It sort of seems like if Janet finally wants to close the borders and enforce immigration law on a budget, maybe she could do something creative like – oh – letting Arizona help enforce the law. But unfortunately, when Arizona tried to do that Janet Napolitano, Barack Obama, and Eric Holder wanted to have the entire state arrested and sent to Guantanamo Bay.

Still, Janet is certainly correct that miniscule budget cutbacks at DHS could result in a fresh flood of illegal immigrants on our streets. Not that she’s psychic – rather, it’s because she’s already giving scores of illegal aliens “get out of jail free” cards and letting them out of prison to save money. 

A cynic might almost think that Napolitano is releasing criminals in hopes of seeing acts of violence happen to the American public which this administration can blame on the sequester cuts. And come to think of it, Hope n’ Change is exactly cynical enough to make that very accusation.

There is nothing in the upcoming sequester which should raise fears of doom in the American public. Rather, our fears should be directed at the willingness of our elected officials to deliberately inflict hardship and misery on us in order to protect their addiction to insane spending.

Wow, he finally made a point that I think we can all agree on.

A U.S. based company called “Law Enforcement Training, Inc.” has been selling millions of dollars worth of “no hesitation” targets to the Department of Homeland Security.

These targets (see images below) are used to train DHS employees to shoot American citizens and they depict pregnant women, old men, children and even young moms with guns. The purpose of the targets, according to the company that sells them, is to “eliminate any hesitation” that U.S. government employees might normally feel in shooting to kill pregnant women, children and old men. (I’m not making this up. The government’s plan to murder Americans is now right out in the open…)

 “No hesitation” targets were “strictly for Department of Homeland Security and other law enforcement agencies.”

This puzzle isn’t difficult to assemble, folks. We’ve got the U.S. government already on record purchasing 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition to be used domestically, inside the united states. The government is also purchasing thousands of full-auto assault rifles, calling them “personal defense weapons.”

On top of that, there are hundreds of thousands of multi-body coffins being stored right now at FEMA camp facilities, and there’s also strong evidence that FEMA camps are being activated with core staff coming on line.

And then we’ve also got the feds saying they want Americans to turn in all their guns and completely disarm themselves so that only the government has guns.

I hope you understand where this is all headed. A government does not buy 1.6 billion bullets for no reason. By my calculations, this is enough ammo to wage a 7-year war with the American people.

A government does not stage gun-related killings (Fast & Furious, Aurora, and elements of Sandy Hook were all staged) and then demand the complete disarmament of the American people for no reason.

The Department of Homeland Security does not buy cardboard targets of pregnant women, young mothers and old men for no reason. They are buying these targets because this is who they are training to kill.

The President does not issue an executive order claiming government ownership of all farms, food, livestock and farm equipment for no reason.

Keep in mind that DHS “officers” do not take an oath of office, meaning they do not swear any allegiance to the U.S. Constitution. Their only allegiance is to their paycheck and their dangerous sense of power, and that comes from the illegitimate occupying government that is now actively plotting to murder its own citizens.

The government is trying to lull everyone into a state of denial while it puts in place a militarized police state infrastructure that will soon be “activated” to start rounding people up and killing them off — an action which has been “legalized” by President Obama under the NDAA. The Department of Justice recently issued a 16-page memo “justifying” the secret killing of American citizens on U.S. soil.

U.S. veterans are being openly characterizes as the new “terrorists.” The same designation is given to anyone who owns a gun or believes in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Democrats everywhere are practically calling for Obama to declare Martial Law, disband Congress and seize control of the entire country as an outright dictator. This is all being set up and to demonize (and then murder) anyone who resists the coming totalitarian dictatorship society.

It’s now in your face and the targets are clear: Pregnant women will be shot. Young mothers with children will be shot. Old men defending their farms will be shot. Little boys will be shot. Grandmothers defending their homes will be shot. This is what DHS is training for, and anyone who does not yet realize what’s happening is a fool.

The Air Force training video shows a winged MAV following a target as he drives through the streets of a dense city.

Second Amendment’s Original Intent

Be not duped by certain politicians on their latest “gun control” crusade. They have almost successfully diverted everyone’s attention from the true purpose of the Second Amendment by saying such things as: “large capacity magazines are not needed for hunting”, or “you don’t need thirty bullets to kill a deer”, etc.

The original intent of the Second Amendment to the US Constitution is to ensure the citizens of this nation can arm themselves with firearms (individually or as part of a “Militia”) that can be used against a tyrannical government, if need be. That being so, there is also an implied intent of the amendment that citizens be able to arm themselves with firearms comparable in firepower and rate of fire to what the forces of a tyrannical government will. We must be careful in our political discourse to not be duped by the left’s too-clever-by-half attempt to portray the quintessentially important Second Amendment as a way to protect hunting or target shooting. Those two purposes, though important, are strictly ancillary to the primary purpose. The Second Amendment is actually the guarantor of all the other Amendments and even the Constitution itself. All of us must keep our focus, for the Nation’s sake.

On an allied note, several online sources report that the federal government, primarily some sub-agencies of the ominously large Department of Homeland Security, have procured over one billion dollars in ammunition. One article stated that the majority of the cartridges are for pistols and have hollow-point expanding bullets, which are intended for killing someone

quickly. Such ammo is good for neither target practice nor for normal service carry. This, if true, suggests someone is planning to mount a deadly assault on a whole bunch of other folks. Wonder who that might be?

there should be hearings on the Homeland Security’s intention with all that ammunition.

Actually, we’ve been in a global currency war for years.

As the Wall Street Journal asked in 2010:

Beggar-thy-neighbor currency devaluations proved ruinous for the global economy in the 1930s. Is the world setting off down the same slippery slope again?

Yes, we are.

Indeed, Japan’s escalation of the currency war has caused leaders in the Eurozone, Norway, Sweden, South Korea and many other regions to consider further devaluing their currencies.

(And James Rickard and Reggie Middleton think that Germany’s demand for its gold is part of the currency war.)

And it’s not just conservative voices such as the Journal slamming the currency wars.  For example, former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich points out that a weak dollar makes everyone poorer, and any new jobs created by a a policy of devaluation are low-wage jobs.

Today it was revealed that an Obama Administration Justice Department confidential memo states that the killing of American citizens, including by drone attacks, is legal – if an “informed, high-level” official of the U.S. government has determined that the targeted American has been “recently” involved in “activities” posing a threat of a violent attack and “there is no evidence suggesting that he has renounced or abandoned such activities.” The memo does not define “recently” or “activities.” 

Combined with the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 (NDAA), which allows the Armed Forces to engage in civilian law enforcement and to selectively suspend due process and habeas corpus as well as other rights guaranteed by the 5th and 6th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution, and the recent purchase of approximately 2 billion rounds of hollow point ammunition by the Department of Homeland Security, one can only agree with Alice that “it gets curiouser and curiouser”.

WATERBOARDING?

Meet the Press Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta admitted that information gleaned from waterboarded detainees was used to track down al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden and kill him.

How is this possible when all of our most trusted leaders have assured us that waterboarding had no information gathering value and only served to endanger us further by making those who hate us, adopt an even more hateful attitude toward us than usual? This must surely be a disinformation strategy to confuse our enemies both foreign and domestic, which is to say those conservative members of Congress and the courts.

We have crossed yet another threshold into tyranny in America. President Obama’s legal team in the DOJ has just issued a memo that justifies the drone killings of American citizens.

This is done based on nothing but the opinioned accusation that the person being targeted may be “associated” with a terrorist organization.

No evidence need be presented. No trial. No due process. No legal defense, nothing.

We should all be alarmed over this, because if a President would justify secret drone killings of US citizens completely outside of law, there is NOTHING he cannot justify.

I just received my tax return for 2011 back from the IRS. It puzzles me!!! They are questioning how many dependents I claimed. I guess it was because of my response to the question: “List all dependents?” I replied: 12 million illegal immigrants; 3 million crack heads; 42 million unemployed people on food stamps, 2 million people in over 243 prisons; half of Mexico; and 535 persons in the U.S. House and Senate.” Evidently, this was NOT an acceptable answer. I KEEP ASKING MYSELF, WHO THE HELL DID I MISS? 

Have you ever wondered what the difference is between Grandmothers and Grandfathers? Well, here it is: There was this loving grandfather who always made a special effort to spend 
time with his son’s family on weekends. Every Saturday morning he would take his 5-year-old granddaughter out for a drive in the car for some quality time — pancakes, ice cream, candy – just him and his granddaughter. 

One particular Saturday, however, he had a terrible cold and could not get out of bed. He knew his granddaughter always looked forward to their drives and would be very disappointed. Luckily, his wife came to the rescue and said that she would take their granddaughter for her weekly drive and breakfast. 

When they returned, the little girl anxiously ran upstairs to see her grandfather who was still in bed. “Well, did you enjoy your ride with grandma?” he asked. Not really, PaPa, it was boring.

He’s asked to sign copies of his book. “He didn’t want to take pictures with any more soldiers; he was complaining about it,” a State Department official tells me. “Look, I was excited to meet him. I wanted to like him. Let’s just say the scales fell from my eyes after I did. These are people over here who’ve been fighting the war, or working every day for the war effort, and he didn’t want to take fucking pictures with them?”

THE RISING STOCK MARKET AND QUANTITATIVE EASING FOR DUMMIES

The announcement of an UNLIMITED  quantitative easing, or the Federal government buying of bonds with the intent of lowering interest rates, takes risky assets off of banks’ balance sheets. (If you are calling this a bank bailout without using the term “bailout”… you are correct.)

After this announcement, the global stock markets rallied, temporarily, but reality intervened as finance ministers from Brazil, China, Korea, China and other states accused the Government of the United states of intensifying the current currency wars that have been unfolding since Obama took office. (More on this later)

 “This effect is potentially important, because stock values affect both consumption and investment decisions.” 

Apparently the Fed is under the belief that it has a mandate to support rising stock prices.

This is ironically a trickle down monetary policy theory, where rising stock prices mean more wealth and more consumption that trickles down the economic ladder. One problem with this idea is that there is a gigantic mountain of household debt—about $12 trillion worth—that is diverting away any trickle down.

Most equity shares in America are owned by the wealthiest 10 percent.

What that means is that when the Fed engages in quantitative easing it is providing a benefit to a very narrow segment of society at the expense of others (either through future inflation or through the cost of raising taxes to pay for increased federal debts).

Easy monetary policy favors “senior management of banks in particular.” And quantitative easing  “has been found to be associated with significant declines in the yields on both corporate bonds and Mortgage Backed Securities.” Translation: the Federal Reserve has made it artificially cheaper for corporations to borrow money and has pushed up the prices of houses. (Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought cheap loans allowing businesses to leverage up and juiced housing prices were key parts of what got us into this mess?)

What this boils down to is that the current federal administration is bailing out large financial institution and the stock market because you can’t. (unemployment highest since WWII)  And while you are praising the stock market rally, you are paying for it with higher taxes and higher price inflation. This is how you get a market recovery without actually putting anyone back to work.

Look at your smaller paycheck and higher food and fuel prices, and with UNLIMITED quantitative easing it’s going to get worse. Much worse.

But hey, some of you even voted for it. This is an unconventional monetary policy that helped re-elect President Obama.

So, while we are trying to scrape up that $20,000.00 per year that the I.R.S. says will be the cost of the minimum coverage health insurance for a family of four that you HAVE to buy under Obamacare, enjoy your free cellphone, Bonehead.

A series of recent military exercises in major cities including Miami and Houston have alarmed residents and even local officials, many of whom were reportedly unaware that the drills would be taking place in their jurisdictions. The Obama administration’s controversial “urban-warfare” scenarios included low-flying black helicopters firing blanks out of machine guns, heavily armed troops rappelling onto buildings, and more. 

More than a few commentators have expressed concerns about the true purpose of the training exercises — especially in light of troubling anti-constitutional political developments in Washington, D.C., and the increasingly unstable economy. However, authorities assured media outlets that there was no cause for alarm and that the drills were just “routine” operations to keep Americans forces ready for urban warfare.

Under Obamacare, American families are forced to buy conventional health insurance that primarily benefits the pharmaceutical industry. By 2016 — just three years from now — the cheapest health insurance plan available will cost a typical American family $20,000 a year, the IRS has now announced.

Here’s the news: The IRS just published descriptions of the financial penalties American taxpayers will pay if they fail to purchase the rip-off health insurance mandated under Obamacare.

“The examples point to families of four and families of five, both of which the IRS expects in its assumptions to pay a minimum of $20,000 per year for a bronze plan,” reports CNS News.

It goes on to report, “The IRS’s assumption that the cheapest plan for family will cost $20,000 per year is found in examples the IRS gives to help people understand how to calculate the penalty they will need to pay the government if they do not buy a mandated health plan.”

For the record, we repeatedly warned people about the Obamacare scam, describing how it was a forced taxpayer handout to Big Pharma and the dangerous sick-care industry which kills 783,000 Americans a year.

Billionaires Dumping Stocks, Economist Knows Why

Despite the 6.5% stock market rally over the last three months, a handful of billionaires are quietly dumping their American stocks . . . and fast.

Warren Buffett, who has been a cheerleader for U.S. stocks for quite some time, is dumping shares at an alarming rate. He recently complained of “disappointing performance” in dyed-in-the-wool American companies like Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, and Kraft Foods.

In the latest filing for Buffett’s holding company Berkshire Hathaway, Buffett has been drastically reducing his exposure to stocks that depend on consumer purchasing habits. Berkshire sold roughly 19 million shares of Johnson & Johnson, and reduced his overall stake in “consumer product stocks” by 21%. Berkshire Hathaway also sold its entire stake in California-based computer parts supplier Intel.

With 70% of the U.S. economy dependent on consumer spending, Buffett’s apparent lack of faith in these companies’ future prospects is worrisome. 

Unfortunately Buffett isn’t alone.

Though it is sure to generate considerable controversy among those with a political or personal aversion to guns, the concept has already been shown to be a success elsewhere. According to Mike Piccione from The Daily Caller, the man behind Project Amendment 28, the U.S. would do well to mimic the model of the European nation of Switzerland, which has long maintained that all civilians should possess firearms, and also happens to have one of the safest and most desirable societies in Europe.

Switzerland is so comfortable with guns, in fact, that some citizens openly stroll the streets with Sig SG 550s, for instance, a powerful and fully-automatic “assault rifle” that would draw considerable attention here in the U.S. And contrary to what the anti-gun lobby would have you believe, this unique policy of open gun ownership has not resulted in a society marked by bloodshed and school shootings.

“[Despite the prevalence of guns, the violent-crime rate is low (in Switzerland): government figures show about 0.5 gun homicides per 100,000 inhabitants in 2010,” wrote Helena Bachmann in a recent piece for TIME. “By comparison, the U.S. rate in the same year was about 5 firearm killings per 100,000 people, according to a 2011 U.N. report.”
